Employee Benefits Account Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing pre-renewal, renewal, and marketing documentation.
  • Evaluating health plan benefits and associated costs.
  • Calculating employee contributions and devising contribution strategies to align with client budgetary constraints.
  • Creating annual client service strategies.
  • Gathering information from new clients.
  • Drafting correspondence, communication materials, and compliance notifications as necessary.
  • Negotiating rates and benefits with insurance carriers.
  • Reviewing client data, premiums, and commission distributions within the Agency Management System.
  • Performing additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Health & Life License is a mandatory requirement.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Support the Producer in organizing and adhering to meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of employee benefits and health plan implementation and management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory matters such as ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and various state and federal health insurance regulations.
  • Capability to negotiate rates and benefits with carriers.
  • Experience with SalesForce is advantageous but not essential.
