We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Stroke Unit team at John Muir Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a compassionate healing environment.
Responsibilities- Plan, delegate, and coordinate nursing care for a group of patients during a designated time frame.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and relevant patient care models to ensure interdisciplinary collaboration and foster professional growth and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide care through the therapeutic use of self, nursing process, and the environment and technology.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
- 2000 hours direct bedside care in a cardiovascular telemetry or cardiac telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse in the last 3 years.
- RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing.
- BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association.
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association.
- Approved Cardiac Rhythm Test.
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale.
- Demonstrates competency in the care and management of acute stroke patients.
- Demonstrates competency in the management of selected vasoactive and antiarrhythmic agents.
- Demonstrates competency in the management and discharge of Observation patients.
