Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Stroke Unit team at John Muir Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a compassionate healing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, delegate, and coordinate nursing care for a group of patients during a designated time frame.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and relevant patient care models to ensure interdisciplinary collaboration and foster professional growth and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide care through the therapeutic use of self, nursing process, and the environment and technology.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Accredited School of Nursing Required
  • 2000 hours direct bedside care in a cardiovascular telemetry or cardiac telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse in the last 3 years - Core Requirement
  • RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing Required
  • BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required
  • ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association Core Requirement
  • NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale - No Issuing Agency Certification
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a scheduled weekly hours of 36. The work shift is from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, with no waiver.

The pay range for this position is $104.97 hourly, with offer amounts based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
