Key Responsibilities- Provide safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff by responding to needs and offering assistance
- Proactively work to prevent theft and vandalism
- Patrol designated areas according to established procedures and document patrols in daily shift reports
- Document daily activities in report writing system
- Provide assistance to patients, visitors, and staff
- Respond to calls for services
- Assist in the control of potentially violent individuals
- Work with potentially unpredictable individuals
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards
- Valid Class D Driver's License and DMV record that meets MHealthFairview Insurability requirements
- Must pass MHealthFairview background check
- Must be able to pass pre-assignment training within probationary period
- One year of customer service experience
- Hospital Security experience
- Two years of security or customer service or military experience, or an Associate's degree and one year of security or customer service experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field
