Position Overview:
CPa Medical Billing is seeking a qualified Medical Billing Account Manager with extensive experience in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and Revenue Cycle Management. This role is pivotal in overseeing a dedicated team of up to 20 billing and insurance follow-up specialists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of assigned accounts and supervise accounts receivable billing personnel.
  • Oversee and enhance processes, policies, and procedures to ensure workflow efficiency, quality, productivity, and team effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail while managing multiple tasks, prioritizing responsibilities, and ensuring effective delegation and follow-up.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and resolve payment issues with minimal oversight.
  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual performance targets.
  • Assist with appeals to payers as necessary, documenting and tracking each appeal from initiation to resolution.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of carrier claim guidelines and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
  • Demonstrate expertise in ICD-10, ICD-9, CPT-4 coding, HCFA, UB04, and EDI.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role within medical billing.
  • At least 5 years of medical billing experience, specifically in FQHC settings.
  • Preferred experience in Revenue Cycle Management within an FQHC environment.
  • Certification as a medical coder is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Epic software is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.

Work Arrangement:
This position offers flexibility with options for hybrid remote work.

Compensation:
Annual salary ranges from $55,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience.
