At Harrison Consulting Solutions, we are seeking a seasoned Senior Civil/Geotechnical Engineer to lead our dam project team in Denver, Colorado.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and project management for water resources projects
  • Conduct inspections, investigations, evaluations, designs, and constructions of dams, reservoirs, levees, and hydraulic structures
  • Promote high standards and exceed industry norms
  • Develop and review design calculations, engineering reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications
  • Conduct senior-level reviews of construction documents (calculations, plans, specifications)
  • Support business development efforts
  • Maintain client relationships and facilitate communication between multiple offices
  • Represent the firm at industry events

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • At least 12 years of experience in hydrology, hydraulics, geotechnical, and/or structural engineering
  • Professional Engineer License
  • Proficiency in evaluating construction drawings and technical specifications
  • Familiarity with state and federal dam safety design methodologies, policies, and regulations
  • Experience in project management and client relations
  • Business development and proposal writing skills

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000-$150,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
