Job Overview

Cci Group is hiring experienced American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters to work on technical engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ASL and technical terminology, with excellent communication skills.

About the Position

This is a freelance position that requires flexibility and willingness to travel or work remotely. The interpreter will work closely with engineers, technical experts, and administrative staff to ensure clear communication between Deaf and hearing participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate ASL interpretation for engineering meetings, site visits, and technical training sessions.
  • Deliver remote interpretation for virtual engagements.
  • Interpret complex terminology related to hydropower, structural engineering, and dam operations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to facilitate clear communication.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional ASL interpreting experience.
  • Familiarity with technical terminology in hydropower, structural engineering, and water resource management.
  • Ability to travel to Denver, CO, or work remotely as needed.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year
