Job Title: RN - Cancer Research Infusion

At Swedish Health Services, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of cancer research. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Cancer Treatment Center at Swedish First Hill.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires a strong foundation in oncology nursing and infusion therapy. As a RN - Cancer Research Infusion, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. Your expertise will be essential in assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect and interpret patient assessment data to identify needs and potential problems
  • Develop, review, and revise individualized care plans to ensure patient-centered care
  • Deliver patient care based on pathophysiology and nursing principles, utilizing technical skills with accuracy and efficiency
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers, advocating for patient needs and preferences
  • Participate in department quality improvement activities and contribute to the education of professional colleagues
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Washington Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration within 90 days of hire
  • 1 year of Infusion Oncology Nursing experience
