Nurse - Cancer Research Infusion Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cancer Treatment Center team at Swedish First Hill. As an Oncology Infusion Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering world-class healthcare with human connection.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and interpret patient assessment data to identify needs and potential problems.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, establishing measurable and achievable outcomes.
- Evaluate patient response to care and initiate changes as needed, documenting changes in condition and response to interventions.
- Utilize the nursing process to incorporate teaching into patient care, documenting teaching and learning.
- Maintain annual clinical and institutional competencies.
- Deliver patient care based on pathophysiology and nursing principles, performing technical skills with accuracy and efficiency.
- Recognize the patient's age as a relevant factor and apply appropriate decision-making skills in assessment, treatment, and care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers, advocating for patient needs and utilizing resources effectively.
- Document complete and accurate information on all appropriate chart forms and computer applications in a timely manner.
- Delegate tasks effectively, utilizing the skill level of department members and respecting their input.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration within 90 days of hire.
- 1 year of Infusion Oncology Nursing experience.
