We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at Ferrotec. Key Responsibilities- Process quotations, sales orders, bookings, releases, and shipments in a timely and accurate manner
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve problems and ensure seamless customer service
- Utilize established procedures and work under immediate supervision to achieve objectives
- Provide courteous, efficient, and complete service and support to customers via phone and email
- Initiate customer orders for changes, consignments, returned/repaired products, short shipments, and credits
- Respond to customer inquiries about price and delivery, and accept, qualify, and process requests for quotations
- Enter sales orders into Oracle and update customer need dates as required
- Participate in auditing order entry to ensure compliance with J-Sox requirements
- Coordinate with other functions to ensure customers receive the best service possible
- Prepare support information for sales and engineering to facilitate quotations and problem resolution
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 2-5 years experience, or Associate degree in a related discipline or equivalent and 0-2 years experience
- Experience with an ERP system, preferably Oracle
- Familiarity with international variances in cultural and legal issues related to sales transactions
- Bi-lingual language skills (Chinese/English or Japanese/English) are preferred and may be required in some business units
This role requires prolonged sitting/standing, occasional moving about to accomplish tasks, and occasional adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions. The employee may be subjected to low and high temperatures and prolonged use of computer monitors.
