Job SummaryThe Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will provide direct patient care on inpatient units, utilizing the nursing process to assess patient needs and develop care plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for providing care and a commitment to the wellness of our patients and community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including basic assessment, care planning, rehabilitation, medication, treatments, and activities of daily living.
- Assist medical providers with rounds, passing medications, and implementing medical orders.
- Document patient information and unit data in a thorough, concise, and timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with medical providers, House Supervisor, and other staff members.
- Assist in the coordination of services with medical staff, nursing staff, and other departments.
- Current LVN California License
- CPR Certification
- Handle with Care Certification
- One year of experience working in a behavioral/psychiatric facility (or equivalent combination of experience and education)
