Job Title: Retail Department Manager

At Ollie's, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. As a Retail Department Manager, you'll play a critical role in achieving our store sales plan by leading the retail department and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and Engage Customers: Develop a strong rapport with customers, using our "Yes I Care, Yes I Can" approach to build long-term loyalty.
  • Product Knowledge and Sales: Stay up-to-date on all products, promotions, and advertisements to effectively answer customer questions and drive sales.
  • Department Maintenance: Ensure all product within the department is merchandised and recovered according to our visual merchandise standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate customer needs to Team Leaders and assist with training new Associates.
  • Operational Efficiency: Accurately and efficiently operate the register and maintain the cleanliness of the overall store.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of six months' retail experience in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business.
  • Availability: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
  • Soft Skills: Positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and ability to interact well with customers and Associates.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
