Randstad Staffing is partnering with a leading manufacturer in Lodi, NJ to find a skilled Tool & Die Maker.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tool & Die Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering and have experience with compound, progressive, and secondary dies. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, altering, and repairing dies using conventional equipment. You will also assist in changeovers and diagnose and correct problems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and construct compound, progressive, and secondary dies using conventional equipment.
  • Alter and repair existing dies to meet customer specifications.
  • Assist in changeovers and diagnose and correct problems.
  • Work from blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.
  • Operate tool room equipment and common inspection equipment.

Requirements

  • 2-year degree in a mechanically based field.
  • Experience with stamping press or machining operations.
  • Competent operation of tool room equipment and common inspection equipment.

What We Offer

  • $32-$42 per hour.
  • 6am-2:30pm Monday through Friday (flexibility on first shift).
