Job Overview:
As a Guest Service Agent, you will play a vital role in ensuring outstanding service to guests on Omni Premier Floors during Breakfast and Happy Hours. This position involves setting up, serving, and maintaining the cleanliness of the Omni Club Lounge, as well as assisting our Loyalty Ambassadors and Guest Experience Planners as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with guests to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns that may arise.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of hotel services and operational hours to effectively assist guests.
  • Maintain the Premier Lounge in pristine condition through proper setup and breakdown procedures.
  • Manage inventory by rotating and storing items from the storeroom as necessary.
  • Ensure all china and silverware are polished and presentable after use.
  • Be knowledgeable about local attractions and points of interest.
  • Assist guests with reservations and special requests.
  • Facilitate the delivery of parcels, mail, and special items to guest rooms.
  • Collaborate with the Housekeeping department to keep public areas clean and tidy.
  • Work with other departments to fulfill guest needs effectively.
  • Greet guests warmly to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
  • Handle special requests such as flowers, telegrams, and transportation arrangements.
  • Update reservations, amenities, and service requests in relevant operating systems.
  • Reach out to guests regarding reservation specials and personalized offers.
  • Assist guests in navigating the hotel and escort them when possible.
  • Support the guest loyalty program as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication, presentation, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Professional appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • TABC and Food Handlers certifications are required.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Capable of working in various environments, from standard office conditions to extreme weather.
