Position Overview

Allied Property Management is seeking a skilled Residential Community Manager to oversee our multi-family housing development. Key Responsibilities

The Residential Community Manager will work closely with the Regional Manager to build a cohesive on-site team and enhance the living experience for our residents.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in multi-family property management is essential.
  • Software Knowledge: Familiarity with property management software such as OneSite and Knock is preferred.
  • Financial Acumen: Proven experience in financial management and collections is required.
  • Availability: Must be available for full-time work, Monday through Friday.

Role Summary

Under the guidance of the Regional Manager, the Residential Community Manager is accountable for the overall management of the property, ensuring a high-quality living environment for residents, a supportive atmosphere for staff, and a solid return on investment for stakeholders.

Core Duties
  • Adhere to Fair Housing regulations and practices.
  • Supervise and train all team members effectively.
  • Conduct interviews, hire, coach, and manage staff in line with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and comply with payroll policies.
  • Ensure high occupancy rates through effective leasing and processing of rental agreements.
  • Assist in rent collection and manage delinquency issues.
  • Keep detailed records of all financial transactions related to the property.
  • Follow accounting policies for income, expenses, and accounts payable.
  • Prepare daily bank deposits and procure necessary office supplies.
  • Oversee external contractors engaged in property maintenance.
  • Manage all aspects of resident move-ins and move-outs, focusing on inspections.
  • Ensure the community is clean and well-maintained for residents.
  • Work within budget constraints and communicate any variances to the Regional Manager.
  • Address resident complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Report emergencies and accidents to the Regional Manager and complete necessary documentation.
  • Ensure maintenance requests are addressed within 24 hours, if feasible.
  • Regularly inspect the property and document any deficiencies for corrective action.
  • Establish schedules for routine maintenance and emergency coverage.
  • Assist in marketing efforts for the apartment community.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager to prepare the annual operating budget.
  • Maintain open communication with employees, residents, applicants, and vendors.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

The Residential Community Manager will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training employees, as well as planning and directing work, evaluating performance, and providing coaching and counseling.
