Position Overview:

As a Senior Community Engagement Specialist at Kinetic, you will play a crucial role in embodying our brand within local communities. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate strong connections and enhance our reputation as a reliable service provider. You will support the initiatives of the Regional Marketing Consultant to uphold Kinetic's commitment to local engagement through various community events and personal interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Your role will involve:

  • Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities through proactive community outreach.
  • Acting as a consultant to understand and fulfill customer needs while delivering personalized service.
  • Being the human touchpoint for Kinetic, ensuring customer service is delivered with a local and personal approach.
  • Participating in branding and sales events, leveraging marketing insights from the Regional Marketing Consultant.
  • Collaborating with sales leaders and operations teams to enhance community engagement.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with local homeowners' associations, real estate agencies, and other community partners.
  • Ensuring that new residents are informed about Kinetic's services and commitment to the community.
  • Engaging actively with local chambers, civic groups, and charitable organizations to strengthen Kinetic's image as a vital community member.
  • Working closely with operations teams to address and resolve customer escalations promptly.
  • Monitoring competitor activities and providing valuable insights to the team.
  • Fostering strong collaboration with other sales teams to ensure a unified approach in customer interactions.
  • Championing Kinetic's Local initiative by promoting local contact points and ensuring the community is aware of their local support team.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with a sense of urgency.
  • Experience in creating and managing project plans and timelines to meet key deliverables.
  • Strong organizational skills to anticipate needs, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a focus on achieving performance metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated territory.
  • Comfortable speaking in front of large audiences.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications, broadband, and related technologies.
  • Experience in project management and customer service.
  • A college degree with 3-5 years of professional experience or 5+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
