We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to oversee the construction process and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the company's onsite representative for construction sites and projects, overseeing all subcontractors and staff in all phases of construction.
- Verify the quality of work performed by subcontractors and field labor, ensuring compliance with established policies, practices, and procedures.
- Monitor jobsite personnel's adherence to safety codes and requirements, maintaining a safe work environment.
- Coordinate subcontractors, material suppliers, inspectors, and other stakeholders to fulfill project timelines.
- Communicate effectively with owners, contractors, and skilled trades to discuss and resolve construction-related issues.
- Document all aspects of the work, preparing written correspondence as needed to protect the company's interests.
- Establish and maintain budgets and timelines, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all company-required paperwork.
- Travel throughout the service area to each project or construction site as business needs dictate, working flexible hours as required.
- Five or more years' field commercial construction experience and detailed knowledge of skilled trades, with a state-specific general contractors license preferred.
- Journeyman carpenter and/or foreman/superintendent experience is also preferred.
- A valid driver's license for operation of a motor vehicle in Oregon, Washington, and/or Idaho, with an acceptable driving record.
- Oregon CCB License
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification
