POSITION: Clinical Therapist and Case Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Youth Services
DIVISION: Residential Youth Program Center
WORK SCHEDULE: As assigned
SALARY: $2,433.15 Biweekly
The incumbent will function as a Clinical Therapist and Case Coordinator for the Tippecanoe County Youth Services, tasked with delivering therapeutic care, treatment, and evidence-based interventions, alongside case management within a residential framework for vulnerable youth.
- Conducts individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Performs assessments on youth, formulates treatment strategies, and executes Behavioral Contracts
- Engages in regular communication with various stakeholders
- Participates in case review meetings
- Contributes to recruitment recommendations
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related discipline
- Proficient understanding of therapeutic practices and treatment planning
- Knowledge of policies and procedures pertaining to juvenile care
- Effective communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- Familiarity with office equipment operations
DIFFICULTY OF WORK:
The incumbent is expected to modify guidelines and procedures to address specific and intricate scenarios.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Utilizes departmental practices in task execution, occasionally making decisions in the absence of explicit guidelines.
PERSONAL WORK RELATIONSHIPS:
Maintains ongoing communication with multiple stakeholders for the exchange of information.
PHYSICAL EFFORT AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The role involves activities such as sitting, walking, keyboarding, crouching, and lifting; exposure to typical hazards associated with a residential group home setting.
