Key Responsibilities
  • Database Management
    • Maintain and organize a large, multicenter international database related to robotic surgery.
    • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality across all centers.
    • Develop and implement database management protocols and best practices.
  • Coordination and Communication
    • Liaise with data managers from participating centers to ensure timely and accurate data submission.
    • Provide support and training to center-based data managers as needed.
    • Facilitate regular meetings and communications to address data-related issues and updates.
  • Biostatistical Analysis
    • Perform biostatistical analyses on collected data to derive meaningful insights and support research objectives.
    • Support research teams in data extraction, transformation, and integration, facilitating collaborative publications and innovative research.
    • Develop and implement statistical models and methods to analyze trends and outcomes in robotic surgery.
    • Prepare detailed reports and presentations of findings for stakeholders and research teams.
    • Ensure compliance with data governance standards and contribute to continuous improvement of database management practices.

    • Conduct regular audits to verify data quality and compliance with organizational standards.
    • Identify and address any discrepancies or issues within the database.
  • Reporting and Documentation
    • Document data management procedures and biostatistical methodologies.
    • Generate reports summarizing key findings and trends for internal and external stakeholders.
    Requirements
    • Education: Master's degree or higher in Biostatistics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
    • Experience: Preferred 3-5 years of experience in data management and biostatistics, preferably within a multicenter or international research environment.
    • Requirements:
    • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS).
    • Experience with database management systems and data visualization tools.
    • Strong understanding of data integrity, privacy regulations, and compliance issues.
    • Preferred proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar.
    • Preferred knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI tools, with experience applying these technologies to data analysis.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams across different geographic locations.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
