Compensation: $15.00 per hour

This role involves significant physical activity and requires driving between various locations. As a Luggage Transport Operator, you will be tasked with securely transporting luggage between multiple cruise ports and airport facilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and legally operate a delivery box truck on highways and local roads.
  • Provide daily delivery updates to dispatchers and supervisors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, ramp areas, and equipment.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle.
  • Utilize radio communication to coordinate with dispatchers and supervisors.
  • Adhere to stringent safety and quality protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment screening, including necessary identification and authorizations.
  • Adhere to company appearance standards.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude, even in challenging driving conditions.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Able to push a loaded luggage cart weighing up to 500 pounds.
  • Basic math skills are necessary.
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.

Appearance Standards

Employees are expected to maintain a professional appearance at all times, even in behind-the-scenes roles. The Company mandates that dress, grooming, and personal hygiene be appropriate for the work environment and align with business standards.

  • Men must be clean-shaven, with the exception of a fully-grown mustache, beard, or goatee.
  • No visible tattoos or body piercings are permitted; tattoos must be covered by the uniform or other approved means.
  • Uniforms must be clean and well-maintained during shifts.
  • Additional requirements may be specified by management.

While performing job duties, employees are frequently required to use their hands and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues. The role involves sitting, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Employees must be capable of lifting and moving up to 75 pounds regularly and must move quickly when necessary. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
