Compensation: $15.00 per hour

This role involves significant physical activity and requires driving between the Airport Facility and Cruise Terminals. As a Port Driver, you will be tasked with the secure transportation of luggage across various cruise ports and airport sites.


Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and legally operate a delivery box truck on highways and local roads.
  • Provide daily delivery updates to dispatchers and supervisors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of vehicles, ramp areas, and line equipment.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle.
  • Utilize radio communication to stay in contact with dispatchers and supervisors.
  • Adhere to stringent safety and quality protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must successfully complete the post-offer pre-employment screening, including FAA Airport-required identification/seals or authorizations.
  • Follow company appearance standards.
  • Exhibit a positive and enthusiastic demeanor, even in challenging traffic and driving conditions.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Able to push a loaded luggage cart weighing up to 500 lbs.
  • Competence in basic mathematical calculations.
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Appearance Standards

Employees are expected to maintain a professional and business-like appearance at all times, even when working behind the scenes. The company mandates that each employee's attire, grooming, and personal hygiene align with the organization's business standards.

  • Men must be clean-shaven, with the exception of a fully-grown mustache, beard, or goatee.
  • No visible tattoos or body piercings are permitted; any tattoos must be concealed by the uniform or other approved means.
  • Uniforms must be clean and well-maintained during shifts.
  • Additional requirements may be specified by management.

While performing job duties, employees will frequently use their hands and fingers and communicate with customers and colleagues. The role involves sitting, reaching, standing, and walking, as well as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Employees must be capable of lifting and moving up to 75 pounds regularly and must be able to move quickly. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
