Position Title: Equipment Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary: The Equipment Maintenance Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the operational effectiveness of the maintenance and tooling departments. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all machinery and tools are consistently available and functioning optimally to facilitate production processes. The supervisor will collaborate with team leaders to minimize equipment downtime and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze maintenance performance data and implement targeted improvement strategies.
  • Reduce equipment downtime through proactive monitoring and maintenance practices.
  • Promote a culture of safety and maintain an accident-free environment.
  • Ensure timely completion of repair requests and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Identify and rectify unsafe work practices, enhancing safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement structured training programs for maintenance personnel.
  • Act as a visible leader, promoting core values within the team.
  • Enhance productivity by optimizing maintenance workflows and resource allocation.
  • Guarantee the quality and consistency of maintenance operations, ensuring equipment is restored to full functionality.
  • Mentor and develop future leaders within the maintenance team.
  • Manage emergency maintenance responses to ensure swift resolution of issues.
  • Optimize maintenance costs while maintaining high standards of service.

Qualifications:
  • A four-year degree and a minimum of five years in maintenance management or a related technical field.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial maintenance practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in managing computerized maintenance management systems and interpreting technical schematics.
  • Dependable, responsible, and capable of effective interpersonal interactions.
