Maintenance Director

Armtec Defense Technologies is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the functional performance of our maintenance and die maintenance departments.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance functions and methods, with excellent leadership and team management skills. They will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing maintenance data, developing and executing targeted improvement plans, and monitoring and reducing production equipment downtime.
The ideal candidate will have a strong safety focus and be able to maintain a near zero backlog of repair tickets and preventive maintenance workorders. They will also be responsible for mentoring our supervisors and key maintenance staff, and developing them into our next generation of strong maintenance leaders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze maintenance data and develop and execute targeted improvement plans.
- Monitor and reduce production equipment downtime.
- Maintain a strong safety focus and an accident-free maintenance department.
- Maintain a near zero backlog of repair tickets and preventive maintenance workorders.
- Mentor our supervisors and key maintenance staff and develop them into our next generation of strong maintenance leaders.
Requirements:
- Must have at least a four-year college degree, and 5 years of previous maintenance management or related technical experience.
- Must have strong leadership and team management skills.
- Must have thorough knowledge of industrial maintenance functions and methods.
- Excellent communications skills both oral and written are required.
