Position Summary:
The Property Leasing Consultant plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales and marketing initiatives of the leasing department, aimed at achieving optimal occupancy levels. A successful consultant will deliver exceptional customer service to residents, effectively promote the community to potential residents, and recognize the significance of this role in maintaining the property's reputation.

Community Details:
The Quarters at Iowa City is a resort-style housing community tailored for university students, featuring 352 units and 892 beds.

Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $16-18/hr, depending on qualifications and experience, with additional bonus opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Embody and promote Tailwind Group's core values: Entrepreneurial, Versatile, Responsive, Innovative, and Integrity.
  • Provide outstanding customer service during all interactions with residents, prospects, vendors, and community members.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing strategies on campus and within the community, including customer appreciation events and other special occasions.
  • Professionally handle incoming inquiries via phone, in-person visits, and email.
  • Act as the lead salesperson in the absence of the Leasing Manager, conducting tours, addressing leasing inquiries, and following up with prospective residents.
  • Stay informed about current market trends, conditions, and local competitors.
  • Maintain the community, clubhouse, amenities, and common areas to ensure superior curb appeal and cleanliness.
  • Support the Leasing Manager in updating and communicating through various platforms.
Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, and/or one or more years of relevant experience in student housing.
Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and effective in a team-oriented setting.
  • Understanding of property management standards, including Fair Housing laws and Tenant/Landlord rights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Entrata software is a plus.
