Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team at Acro Service Corporation. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing strategies for all supply chain activities related to fulfilling manufacturing and aftermarket requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between sourcing and all other interfacing organizations to plan, coordinate, and implement strategies for all supply chain activities.
- Heavily involved in hardware transition activities, including all aspects of planning and transition execution.
- Interface with global suppliers, requiring flexibility in working hours.
- Plan, schedule, place orders, and administer purchase orders to ensure quality hardware is delivered on time.
- Maintain proper inventory levels per order policy.
- Interact with personnel throughout the site with frequent outside contacts to discuss and negotiate difficult technical problems.
- Work under general direction with specified suppliers and hardware, planning and scheduling purchase orders in accordance with production requirements.
- Manage inventory to a specified inventory plan as required to support the production schedule.
- Research and provide constant feedback to department and management relative to material shortages and supplier capacity and capabilities.
- Demonstrate an active commitment to continuous improvement in the areas of quality, cost, delivery, and lead time.
- Have effective interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of employees and management.
- Demonstrate ability in negotiations, planning, and hardware administration procedures.
- Ability to organize work, document, and/or report concisely and accurately, and be thorough in carrying out the responsibilities of the job.
- Monitor and release kits to both internal and external suppliers to support production and aftermarket needs.
