Technical Support Representative

Join The Baker Company, a leading manufacturer of innovative solutions for air containment, contamination control, and controlled environments, as a Technical Support Representative. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to our customers by answering their technical questions, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating repairs and maintenance of our products under warranty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with Service Management, Quality Department, and other teams to report cases, analyze trends, and improve technical services.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and correspondence in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Log warranty calls, call data, and other information into our call management system.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot Baker and BakerRuskinn products in the field, working with customers, field technicians, and internal teams.
  • Provide technical support, test reports, and other information as requested.
  • Perform trend analysis, review operator/service manuals, and provide input for changes and updates.
  • Write and offer input for infield installation instructions, as required.
  • Enter parts orders and provide part numbers and quotes to customers and internal teams.
Requirements:
  • 1 year experience in assembly, technical troubleshooting, and/or testing.
  • Electrical/mechanical background.
  • Excellent listening, communication, and phone skills.
  • Ability to concentrate and be detail-oriented for extended periods.
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access) and knowledge of ERP/MRP/Case management systems.
