About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our Intel Platform Operations team. As a key member of our Global Technology team, you will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day operations and projects for our Marriott Data Platform (MDP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Platform Management: Create platform standards, policies, and processes to govern, track, and optimize platform usage.
  • Strategy and Decision-Making: Drive strategy for platform maturity and drive decisions on platform use.
  • Cost Optimization: Create processes to support cost tracking and optimization of the MDP environment.
  • Issue Remediation: Monitor platform usage trends and partner with Global Technology on issue remediation.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze system performance and usage patterns to identify opportunities for cost savings and performance improvements.
  • User Enablement: Enable end-users through training and content creation to drive platform adoption.
  • Project Management: Serve as primary business POC for platform improvement projects.
  • Innovation: Evaluate and launch innovative technologies, features, and new platform capabilities in the spirit of continuous improvement.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance to team members and stakeholders as needed, and serve as point-of-contact for problem resolution.
  • Data Governance: Support Data Governance and Data Quality initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Look for ways to drive efficiency and scale of user support (automated responses, use of Generative AI, etc.).
