Meat Department Assistant

Restaurant Depot is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Meat Department Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our products are displayed and merchandised to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the meat department, including product placement, rotation, and signage.
- Ensure that all products are properly stocked, labeled, and displayed to meet customer needs.
- Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Train and develop the skills of meat department employees to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, including receiving and stocking products, and conducting regular inventory audits.
- Ensure that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and cleaned to meet health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
