About the Role

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team in the Imaging Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating advanced imaging equipment, including computed tomography (CT) scanners, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT Scanners: Safely and effectively operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
  • Prepare Patients: Position patients to capture accurate images, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
  • Administer Contrast Material: Accurately administer contrast material to patients as required, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Send Images for Interpretation: Send images to radiologists for interpretation and reading, ensuring timely and accurate diagnosis.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Clean and disinfect patient rooms, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology program.
  • Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiologist certification (ARRT-R), California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, and Venipuncture certification.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Scan Technologist, with at least 6 months of experience with Siemens brand scanners preferred.
