Diagnostic Imaging Specialist in Southern California

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team at United Medical Imaging Healthcare. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex breast imaging and examination procedures, ensuring good patient care, comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex breast imaging and examination procedures following company guidelines.
- Perform required quality assurance procedures at designated intervals.
- Instruct and review technical performance of diagnostic technologists, assisting as needed.
- Consistently ensure good patient care, comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
- Maintain a second Mammography registry with the ARRT by annually accruing five ECE's specific to Mammography education.
- Perform other duties as assigned and/or work in various work areas to meet company staffing needs.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered with the ARRT, in addition to certification in Mammography with the ARRT.
- Digital Mammography experience is a Must.
- Must be open to multiple site locations within the Los Angeles area.
- The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with doctors, patients, peers, and management.
- Minimum of two years of clinical Mammography experience.
- Certification in Basic Life Support.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
