Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Daltile. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for increasing market share and sales in your assigned region. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a proven ability to work in an unstructured environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis: Conduct area market analysis of top accounts in each area, including top Dealers, Contractors, and Builders.
  • Sales Calls: Conduct weekly sales calls to existing customers and potential customers, with an average of 4-5 cold calls per week.
  • Reporting: Prepare weekly sales reports and call reports, as well as monthly travel calendars based on sales strategy.
  • Product Knowledge: Research area market product data to determine the types, styles, and sizes most purchased in the area, and use this information to inform sales strategy.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma and some college preferred.
  • Experience: 4 years prior selling experience required, with prior customer service experience a plus.
  • Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to exercise independent judgment, and solid time management and organizational skills.
