Job Summary

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking an experienced Grants and Funding Coordinator to assist with the administration of its grant programs and funding initiatives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of grant applications, as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grant Administration: Assist with the preparation and submission of grant applications, including data entry, document management, and reporting.
  • Funding Management: Coordinate the processing of grant applications, including review, approval, and implementation.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines, and identify and mitigate potential risks associated with grant programs.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including grant applicants, partners, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Project Management: Assist with the management of multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to ensure timely completion.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience in business, public administration, grant management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software is preferred.
