Snow and Jones, Inc. is a leading distributor in the plumbing and heating sector, established in 1952. As a family-owned enterprise, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding products and customer service to the South Shore and Cape Cod regions. We are currently seeking a dedicated Counter Sales Associate to join our team at the Falmouth branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in accurately processing their orders while promoting additional sales opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service to foster and enhance business relationships.
- Engage in ongoing training to improve technical product knowledge and customer support.
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager and Outside Sales team to identify potential new customers.
- Accurately prepare customer orders and ensure their correctness.
- Work alongside warehouse staff and management to meet daily inventory requirements.
- Organize and restock products as necessary.
- Utilize appropriate systems to maintain product organization.
- Support the fulfillment of sold orders and deliveries with precision.
- Effectively manage time to complete assigned tasks.
- Build and maintain relationships with Manufacturer Representatives to enhance sales support.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the branch and sales counters.
- Report any safety or operational concerns to the Branch Manager.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience is preferred, especially in plumbing or HVAC, though mechanical skills are valuable.
- Willingness to learn about new industry products.
- Positive demeanor and a commitment to developing customer relationships.
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
