Job Summary:
To provide diagnostic ultrasound services in a hospital and/or clinical setting, to include OB/GYN, abdominal, and vascular superficial structures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and perform exams confidently.

Essential Responsibilities:

Performing diagnostic procedures, using knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the age of the patient served, to include routine, emergent, portable, and surgical examinations in accordance with department policies and procedures.

Communication with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals is essential. The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting patients, transporting them as needed, and reviewing exams for quality assurance purposes.

Basic Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasonographer program or 2 years of previous ultrasound experience. High school diploma or equivalent required. Licenses and Certifications: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certificate in Ob-Gyn or Abdomen, Sonography Technologist License (Oregon), and Basic Life Support certification within 1 month of hire.

Additional Requirements:
The successful candidate will be required to work daily with diagnostic equipment and healthcare computer systems, demonstrating customer-focused service skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to follow policies and procedures are essential for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience performing ultrasound exams, preferably within the last 3 years. Vascular ultrasonographer experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning, attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making, and technical skills.
