About This Job

We are seeking a third Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team at our Waterfront Spa location on the Vancouver Columbia River waterfront.

This part-time position starts at 20-25 hours per week, with consistent schedules and minimal changes.

As a member of our team, you will participate in weekly staff meetings and marketing tasks, which are paid administrative hours.

Responsibilities
  • Recommend additional products or services that may benefit the client
  • Use therapeutic massage techniques to deliver a safe and exceptional customer experience that meets their needs and desired results
  • Support a positive working environment for both clients and staff through relationship building and team development
  • Provide a variety of massage and spa treatments to patients/clients
  • Arrive on time for shifts and maintain a consistent, regular attendance record
  • Properly open and close your treatment room each day, and handle room turnovers
  • Communicate with the Client Concierge Manager to ensure that the check-in, check-out, and payment process is completed
  • Complete appropriate SOAP note charting, and sign all charts within 24 hours
  • Regularly participate in marketing efforts to build and maintain client caseloads
  • Actively promote VWS treatments, services, and promotions
  • Maintain professional demeanor, conduct, and hygiene
  • Develop professional & personalized relationships with regular clients and community members
  • Handle patient/client questions and concerns promptly, professionally, and courteously
  • Maintain complete confidentiality in all patient/client matters following company HIPPA policy
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Must maintain annual continued education, stay current on industry trends and services, and be willing to complete ongoing education in massage therapy
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess high-level interpersonal and communications skills
  • Have graduated from an accredited Massage Therapy school
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in professional massage services
  • Hold a current Massage Therapy license in Washington State with the Massage Board
  • Have a National Provider Identification (NPI) number
  • Have appropriate professional malpractice insurance

Compensation

$40 - $45 hourly
