Position Overview:
The role entails the preparation and evaluation of the annual budget, forecasts, and various financial and regulatory reports. Collaborates with the Accounting department to conduct financial analysis and variance reporting. Provides insights and recommendations to senior management based on the analysis of operational and regulatory reporting requirements. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis in the strategic and financial planning for the organization.
Prepare and assess statutory and regulatory submissions, including the annual UDS report.

Engage with various internal and external stakeholders for data requests, while managing the ongoing submission of various reports.

Oversee annual cost reporting to relevant regulatory bodies and ensure report accuracy through thorough analysis.
Coordinate and finalize the organizational budget in partnership with budget owners. Generate quarterly forecasts reflecting updated business activity levels.
Develop, design, and analyze budget assumptions related to revenues and expenditures.
Collaborate with budget owners, Directors, VPs, and Senior Leadership to facilitate budget reviews and monitoring. Work closely with the Accounting team on variance analysis.
Prepare and present financial and budget management reports, revenue summaries, and business narratives.
Create financial proformas that support business case analyses for new product or site development.
Lead updates to the budget system and/or implement a more comprehensive budget platform that aligns with business needs.
Maintain punctuality and full attendance as a condition of employment.
Exhibit respectful, professional, and appropriate behavior that fosters a collaborative work environment.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and contribute to organizational committees and task forces as required.

Qualifications for Success:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited institution, along with three to five years of relevant experience.

Proficient in using computers and related software, particularly Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and accounting software. Familiarity with MIP software is preferred.
Maintain necessary registrations or licenses as applicable.
