Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit team. As a RN CCU Full Time Days candidate, you will provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit, coordinate care planning with other disciplines, and act as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provides individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
  • Coordinates care planning with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Acts as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
  • Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
  • Participates in hourly rounding and observes safety guidelines and safe work practices.
Requirements
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR and ACLS certifications as applicable by Facility/by Department.
  • Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
  • Preferred experience in acute care, certification in specialty area of practice, and basic computer skills.
