Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team at Abrazo Health Network. As a CVICU Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients requiring advanced cardiovascular interventions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current Arizona RN license.
  • BSN degree or higher.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in CVICU or ICU.
  • ACLS certification.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree.
  • Experience in cardiac stepdown or ICU.
  • Certification in specialty area of practice.
