Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team at Abrazo Health Network. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate care planning with other disciplines, and act as a supervisor to ensure the provision of exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provides professional nursing care within the CVICU, coordinating care planning with other disciplines.
  • Acts as a supervisor, assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
  • Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
  • Participates in hourly rounding and observes safety guidelines and safe work practices.
  • May be asked to be in charge for a shift(s) and supervises other members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
  • CPR and ACLS certifications as applicable by Facility/by Department.
  • Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
  • Preferred experience: 1 year of acute care experience, certification in specialty area of practice.
