Job Title: Material Control Coordinator

Epic Piping is seeking a highly skilled Material Control Coordinator to join our Pipe Support team. As a Material Control Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our material control processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify the accuracy of material information on spool drawings
  • Input material line items into the JDE system
  • Release spools to production when all material line items are available
  • Issue work orders as required
  • Address material shortages daily
  • Update weight and surface area fields on spool sheets
  • Maintain a filing system
  • Assist with material reconciliations at job closeouts
  • Requisition material shortages as needed
  • Update statuses in JDE as needed
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED; preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in the pipe fabrication field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and JD Edwards
  • No specific certification or licenses required
  • Knowledge of piping materials (visual and descriptions)
