Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming Atmosphere: Greet and assist members, guests, and staff with warmth, fostering a friendly and inviting ambiance during evening and weekend hours.
  • Security Management: Ensure safety and control at the gym's entrance and retail area, providing a secure and welcoming environment.
  • Streamlined Check-Ins: Adhere to check-in protocols, ensuring prompt registration for each member and guest.
  • Guest Coordination: Register guests following established procedures and direct them to fitness consultants with professionalism.
  • Professional Communication: Handle phone inquiries courteously and efficiently, managing messages and requests effectively.
  • Appointment Coordination: Follow up on inquiries to confirm appointments are scheduled accurately.
  • Member Assistance: Address member requests and concerns promptly, upholding our high service standards.
  • Professional Appearance: Maintain a neat and professional look while on duty, wearing the designated uniform and nametag.
  • Customer Support: Distribute towels and materials as needed, assist with class reservations, and process retail sales.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in staff meetings and help maintain the front desk area in accordance with company standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and report any concerns or incidents.
  • Dependable Attendance: Commit to scheduled shifts and follow company attendance policies.
  • Additional Tasks: Complete other reasonable assignments as directed by management, including light cleaning and organizing equipment.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Customer Service Expertise: Strong customer service skills are essential.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with staff and members, both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic Financial Knowledge: Understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • Multi-Tasking Ability: Capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical Capability: Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Team-Oriented: Support Gold's Gym's Vision, Mission, Values, and code of conduct.
  • Policy Adherence: Comply with all company policies and procedures.
