Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and hold team members accountable for the same.
  • Establish clear expectations for balancing in-store customer service and completing online orders.
  • Monitor in-store and online customer flow, assigning tasks to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
  • Respond effectively to customer inquiries, requests, and concerns.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders, store leadership, and 1P/3P partners to drive business results.
  • Foster a positive team environment, promoting outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.
  • Maintain team member safety and security standards.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory rules and standards.
  • Develop, coach, mentor, and motivate team members to sustain a high-performing team and minimize turnover.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workspaces, including staging areas and coolers.
  • Secure equipment, such as MSRs, phones, and currency counters.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Model and communicate Whole Foods Market's core values, leadership principles, and goals.

Requirements:

  • 12+ months of retail experience.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand/walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday.
  • Use hands for single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
  • Perform bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
  • Work in a wet and cold environment.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.

Compensation and Benefits:

Whole Foods Market offers a competitive hourly wage range of $18.50 - $30.20, commensurate with experience. Our Whole Benefits program includes health insurance, retirement plan benefits, store discounts, paid time off, and access to other benefit programs. Eligibility for Whole Benefits is determined under the terms of the applicable Whole Benefits plan at the time of hire.
