About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our team at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center. As a Radiation Oncology Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cancer program.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing radiation therapy
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop strategies for improvement
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current California Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring (L&D) certification
  • 1 year of nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2nd Professional Certification in Nursing Administration or management as approved by American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Magnet
