Job Summary

The Treasury Specialist will be responsible for performing treasury functions in a timely and accurate manner. This includes assisting with the formulation and execution of internal controls and policies within the Finance and Accounting functions of the business. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial operations and be able to provide quality work product and expertise to the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Positive Pay Exceptions: Review and resolve exceptions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • ACH and Wire Transfers: Process and execute ACH and wire transfers in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Lockbox Redistribution: Manage and process lockbox redistribution in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Lockbox Bank Account Constructive Receipts-Confirmation and Recording: Confirm and record constructive receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Invoice Payment Approvals: Approve invoice payments in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Bank Daily Activity and Balance Reporting: Prepare and review daily activity and balance reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Trust Account Reporting: Prepare and review trust account reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations of Amex, Visa, operating account, and trust account in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Processing: Process vendor invoices, requests for adjustments, and invoice review in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Checks: Process cost payables, client refunds, and void check requests in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Deposits for firm reimbursement: Process deposits for firm reimbursement in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient in programs and software applicable to perform the functions of the Finance and Accounting Department.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor of Arts/Science in Accounting or related field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience (at least 3 years working in accounting function required).
Work Environment
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
  • Ability to remain focused for extended periods.
  • Ability to work on computers for a significant portion of the day.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements as required for positions (Typing, clicking, swiveling).
  • Ability to multi-task.
