Job Overview:

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for the operation of various machinery, trucks, and tractors aimed at the repair, upkeep, and construction of mountain facilities and utilities.

Position Details:

Housing: Potentially Available Anticipated Pay Rate: $22.76 / hour Work Schedule: Full-Time opportunities available Experience Level: Entry-Level

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular maintenance on slopes and operate all machinery utilized by the Mountain Operations team, including but not limited to Skid Steers, Forklifts, and Backhoes. Oversee all equipment functionality and ensure that any issues are promptly reported to Vehicle Maintenance. Engage in physical labor as required by the diverse range of tasks associated with the resort. Maintain a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays. Follow instructions and collaborate effectively as part of a team. Accurately diagnose equipment malfunctions. Contribute positively to the training of new and developing operators. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED - preferred Valid Driver's License – required Prior experience with heavy machinery - required Previous experience in customer service - required Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English - required Capability to lift 50lbs and engage in physical tasks - required Ability to work outdoors in a high-altitude environment - required

Additional Requirements:

Minimum of 1-year experience operating heavy equipment - required Familiarity with power tools - preferred High school diploma or equivalent Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, understanding, and comprehending English fluently Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift and carry up to 100lbs

The expected pay range is $22.76. This reflects the compensation we reasonably anticipate for this role. Individual pay decisions are influenced by various factors.
