Material Handling Equipment Controls Specialist

As a CBRE Material Handling Equipment Control Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining material handling equipment, including conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, and more. This role is part of the Material Handling job function, responsible for the movement and storage of raw materials, finished products, and parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor material handling control systems, industrial motor control systems, and electrical distribution systems.
- Partner with maintenance technicians to resolve equipment electrical and electronic control problems.
- Use operation systems assessment reports to improve material handling system reliability.
- Maintain positive working relationships with operations and site support resources.
- Fix and modify software programs for material handling control systems.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
- Valid Drivers License required.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, and lifting heavy loads.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
