We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team at Optum, a leading healthcare organization. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality medical imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions
  • Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Develop and process X-ray images, ensuring high-quality results
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient examinations and images
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) certification and NY State license in Radiologic Technology
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in radiologic technology
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree or Baccalaureate degree in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine
  • Experience with digital radiography and other advanced imaging modalities
  • Certification in basic life support (BLS) and CPR
Working Conditions
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent patient interactions
  • Stand and walk for extended periods, with occasional lifting and bending
  • Use X-ray equipment and other medical devices, following safety protocols and guidelines
