Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Formulation Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and formulation of a diverse range of personal care products, including hair, skin, and sun care items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop formulations for various personal care products such as gels, creams, lotions, and sprays.
  • Utilize knowledge of emulsion technology, polymers, and surfactants to create effective formulations.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Conduct stability and compatibility testing on prototypes to ensure product integrity.
  • Manage inventory of lab supplies and raw materials, ensuring timely availability for formulation activities.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 0-1 years of experience in formulation or a related field, or currently pursuing a degree in a relevant science program.
  • Ability to accurately follow established formulations and procedures provided by senior scientists.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Capability to maintain a detailed laboratory notebook as a professional record.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at a laboratory bench for extended periods.
