Job Title: Radiologic Technologist II

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team in Santa Rosa, California. As a Radiologic Technologist II, you will be responsible for performing general radiology procedures and producing high-quality diagnostic radiographs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general radiology procedures, including trauma radiography, routine fluoroscopy, pediatric radiography, and surgical radiography.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs, ensuring accurate and precise images.
  • Process films, prepare records of service performed, and make adjustments to equipment as needed.
  • Transport patients to and from the department, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Work efficiently to maintain scheduled patient appointments and unscheduled patient exams.
  • Ensure effective communication and documentation throughout the imaging process.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • Associate's degree in Health Science or equivalent education/experience.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist.
  • ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists.
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider within 30 Days of hire.
Preferred Experience:
  • Two years as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care hospital.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Complete understanding of technical principles, policies, and procedures in general diagnostic radiography.
  • Ability to perform diagnostic imaging examinations with a high level of skill, accuracy, compassion, and tact.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other staff members and medical staff.
  • Ability to deal with patients from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds in a respectful manner.
Work Environment:
  • Varied schedule, including rotating weekends.
  • Per Diem/Casual position.
