Neurophysiological Monitoring Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Tech to join our team at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. As a key member of our neurosurgical and spine surgery IOM team, you will be responsible for performing and monitoring various modalities of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and monitor intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring for neurosurgical, vascular, pediatric, ENT, orthopedic spine, and interventional radiology procedures.
- Conduct motor cranial nerve recording, spontaneous or evoked electromyography (EMG), spinal screw and direct nerve stimulation, intraoperative somatosensory evoked potential (SSEP), intraoperative electroencephalography (EEG), intraoperative brainstem auditory evoked potential (BAER), and intraoperative transcranial electrical motor evoked potentials (TCeMEP).
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective monitoring.
- Develop and maintain expertise in neurophysiological monitoring techniques and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in anatomy/physiology, biological sciences, or a closely related field.
- 0-1 year of IOM experience.
- BLS certification.
